BEFORE:
- These St. Louis natives decided to purchase a second home in the Barrington area which they could use as a convenient home-away-from-home base so they could spend more time with their two grandchildren.
- The home hadn’t been updated since the 70’s so a whole-house renovation was in order.
AFTER:
- Old flooring and carpeting were removed and replaced with reclaimed newly sanded and stained walnut flooring and new tiles installed in bathrooms and high-traffic areas.
- A more open-concept, modern farmhouse design was incorporated throughout and both the stairwell and kitchen areas were opened where possible to create improved flow and an overall more appealing design.
- New wainscoting, shiplap, doors and hardware were also added to align with the overall design theme and all cabinets, appliances and fixtures were also updated throughout the home.
