BEFORE:

  • The homeowners had put off remodeling their kitchen until after their kiddo’s college educations were prioritized.
  • Loathed the existing layout with its tight bottlenecks and constant traffic jams whenever more than 3 people were in the room.

IN PROGRESS:

  • Relocating the fridge and eliminating the peninsula between main Kitchen area and the Eating area were key to redesigning this space to eliminate traffic jams.
  • To open the doorway between the Kitchen and Dining Room, we also relocated the range to the exterior wall and eliminated the countertop M/W oven and are installing a M/W vent hood above the range.
  • An existing shallow pantry area will be converted to a stunning beverage serving area adjacent to the new built-in island seating area.
